In 1983 we took the boat trip up the Wailua River to the Fern Grotto.
In 2011 and 2019, we opted for the over-view of the Wailua Valley from the hilltop above.
There is not a lot to do here, but the view is beautiful.
Opaekaa Falls are across the street, and there is a recreation of a Hawaiian village and tours next door called Kamokila Hawaiian Village.

This is the entrance to Kamokila Hawaiian Village, Kauai, Hawaii, 2019.
We did not get a chance to investigate this "attraction" but it looked like it might be fun to kayak or paddle out of there.
